The Hudson River Fishermens Association in  association with the Palisades Interstate Park and invite you
to experience the Hudson River at the 32nd Annual Hooked on the Hudson

Ross_Dock.jpg (78501 bytes) Join us at Ross Dock on Saturday, May 7th 8am--4:00 pm.   Our fishing contest is FREE.

There is no entry fee. There are no registration forms.

Just come down to the park, throw your line in the water and enjoy yourself.

We will supply all equipment and bait Free for your children to use!

We continue our tradition of combining a fishing contest with exhibits provided by leading environmental conservation and sportmen's organizations in our area

Fishing Contest 8:00am - 2:00 pm Fishing information and assistance will be available

Exhibits 9:00am---3:00pm

As in past years we have invited leading environmental and conservation groups to join us. These include Raritan Bay Keeper, NY State Office of Parks and Recreation & Historic Preservation. American Littoral Society, Clean Ocean Action, Sierra Club, New Jersey Outdoor Alliance, Hudson River Fish Advisory Outreach, Hackensack Riverkeeper and East Jersey Chapter of Trout Unlimited

Children Casting Contest 2:00pm---3:00pm with prizes awarded

Awards Ceremony @ 3:00pm


Hot Dogs and Soda Free to all children.  Bring your children for a day on the Hudson River. Combine fishing for Striped Bass, Catfish, Perch and Tommy Cod with an opportunity to speak to experts on environmental issues, fishing and more
